I once told a colleague, ”I don’t just want to get up in front of people and lecture about things they can find on Google.  I want to help them dig into the real stuff, the challenging stuff, the things that will reach them and help them grow.”  My goal is to help people discover the path to their success, on their own and as part of a team.  As a trainer and speaker, I have worked with government agencies, human resource associations, corporations, and schools on issues of diversity, inclusion, unconscious bias, belonging and trust.  I strive to help participants see a subject from a new perspective, to engage them in respectful, honest, and productive conversation, and to leave them with a sense of connection and new understanding.

My strength is in creating a space that is safe and welcomes openness,  with a good dose of humor thrown in for good measure.

LISA GRIFFEE

As a professional educator, speaker and facilitator in process improvement for fifteen years, one learns that respect of each individual, their experiences, and listening to what they have to teach is essential for progress. I’ve spent a career in healthcare bringing the voices of diverse patients together with organization leaders to result in co-designed improved experiences. I’ve been involved in LGBTQ community organizations for 25 years and bring this passion to my professional career advocating for inclusion, participating in diversity councils and founding an LGBTQ employee affinity group.

I believe in open and honest communication infused with a dose of humor and compassion as a way to continue in our journey of greater understanding.
